Dermal Fillers

Dermal-filler treatments can be used to enhance or diminish facial characteristics – reducing the depth of lines (Marionette, Nasolabial Fold) or accentuating and contouring (Lip and Cheek Enhancement). Professional dermal fillers can change the shape of the face and improve the overall appearance and shape with options such as non-surgical rhinoplasty and jawline shaping.
If you have never had dermal filler treatments before, we recommend an initial free consultation where we can discuss your objectives and how they can be realistically achieved with natural looking results.
Packages are available for multiple treatments at the same appointment.
A free 15 minute post- treatment follow up session is offered to review your treatment 14 days later.
For filler dissolving treatments, please get in touch prior to booking to discuss the treatment in more depth.

Aftercare
It is normal for some swelling or bruising to the injected area.
The First Few Hours:
Avoid touching the injected areas for a few hours and maintain good hygiene.
Don’t apply makeup for approximately 6 hours unless it is mineral based. Always use clean makeup brushes and towels.
If you have had a local nerve injection to numb the area pre-treatment, please do not consume any hot or cold drinks until your sensation has returned to normal – take extra care when eating to avoid biting your lip.
The First Few Days:
Avoid exposure to UV or extreme heat (e.g. sauna, steam, sun beds, very hot showers, strenuous exercise) for the next 48 hours as this may increase discomfort or swelling.
The First Few Weeks:
Avoid facial massages or skin resurfacing until the area has fully healed.
If you experience any lumpiness in the treated area, it can be gently massaged to help smooth it out.
Avoid extreme cold, including ice packs applied directly to the skin. If necessary, you can apply a cool compress to the area to reduce any discomfort or swelling.
WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION
Allergy or Infection is extremely rare. If you do experience the following symptoms, then please seek urgent medical advice.
Pending Necrosis, though extremely rare, needs immediate attention to prevent scarring. It is caused by the filler or associated swelling disrupting the usual blood supply causing discolouration (pale or dusky coloured skin) and is usually associated with pain within the first few hours after a treatment.
Anaphylaxis : although this is extremely rare, it is a serious condition which requires urgent medical attention. Symptoms may include swelling, rashes, redness or blotching around your face and you may experience difficulty in breathing or talking. CALL 999.
