HArmonyCA® is an injectable dual-action hybrid filler that combines HA (hydration/volume) with CaHA (collagen stimulation). This treatment is specifically designed to be used on the lateral (side aspects) of the face and areas that are generally targeted are cheeks, mid-face, jawline/jowls, chin, temples, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and accordian lines.
Unlike traditional fillers, the award-winning HArmonyCA® combines hyaluronic acid for immediate lift and calcium hydroxyapatite to stimulate the body’s own long-term collagen production. Aftercare
It is normal for some swelling or bruising to the injected area.
The First Few Hours:
Avoid massaging the treated areas, unless specifically instructed to do so by your practitioner. Avoid touching or washing for the first few hours to prevent infection.
Apply cold packs (wrapped in cloth) to reduce swelling and tenderness.
The First Few Days:
Avoid applying makeup for approximately 8 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, swimming and steam rooms for 24-48 hours.
It is recommended to sleep in a supine position (on your back) for the first few nights after treatment.
The First Few Weeks:
Avoid dental work and vaccinations for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment.
Use a good SPF of 30 or higher every day for the next 2 weeks or longer and maintain your regular skin care routine with a mild cleanser and moisturiser daily.
Avoid facial, laser or chemical peel treatments and extreme, direct sunlight for 2 weeks after treatment.
WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION
Allergy or Infection is extremely rare. If you do experience the following symptoms, then please seek urgent medical advice.
If you experience severe pain, signs of infection (pus, fever) or skin discolouration (paleness, blue/grey) then please contact your aesthetics practitioner immediately.
Anaphylaxis : although this is extremely rare, it is a serious condition which requires urgent medical attention. Symptoms may include swelling, rashes, redness or blotching around your face and you may experience difficulty in breathing or talking. CALL 999.
