Ecolla is an injectable biostimulatory dermal filler made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that restores natural volume and smooths wrinkles by stimulating the body’s own collagen production. Unlike immediate fillers, it works gradually over 3-6 months : full results typically develop as collagen production builds.
PLLA particles, when injected, stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen, replacing the filler as it is absorbed by the body. Over time and with a long-lasting effect, this treatment targets fine lines, wrinkles, sagging and other signs of aging associated with collagen loss, gradually helping to restore skin structure and volume.
The advantages of Ecolla are in its long-lasting results which makes it very cost-effective for anyone seeking prolonged results. The gradual aspect of this treatment also ensures a subtle enhancement as it takes effect over time.
